Yupoo explained: what it is, and what Superbuy can and can't do with it

Yupoo (又拍) is a Chinese photo-album hosting service. Sellers upload product photos into albums and share the link, much like a lookbook. There are no payable prices, no cart, no checkout and no buyer protection; albums usually show a WeChat or WhatsApp contact or a link to a real shop. Treat any Yupoo album as a catalogue and make the purchase somewhere else.

No. Yupoo has no checkout, so the purchase always happens elsewhere. Either get the seller's real listing on Taobao, Weidian or 1688, or contact them and ask an agent to buy by hand. Through Superbuy, a Taobao or 1688 link carries a CN¥0 purchasing fee, while a manual purchase costs up to CN¥20 more. Ask the seller for a proper listing link first.

Only indirectly. With the seller's Taobao or 1688 link it's a normal order with no purchasing fee; a Weidian link works too, but check its fee line. With only a WeChat or WhatsApp contact, Superbuy's Shopping Enquiry can attempt a manual purchase for 10% of the item value, capped at CN¥20. An album with photos and no contact can't be bought at all.

Yupoo itself is a legal photo host, also used for unbranded and own-brand products. The problem is that many albums shared in spreadsheets show unauthorised copies of branded goods. Superbuy publishes a policy under which it may refuse or cancel such orders, and customs in the US, UK and EU can seize them. Stick to unbranded or own-brand albums and buy through a traceable platform.

Album photos are the seller's marketing, often not the exact unit you'll get. Superbuy's warehouse photos show the actual item that arrived; standard QC photos are free, and detailed inspection costs CN¥5.50. Compare them against the album and your order before shipping. If something's wrong, reject it while the item is still in China, where sending it back is far easier.

Look through the album for a shop link or product code first; many albums link to the seller's Taobao or Weidian store, where the code finds the item. If there's nothing, message the seller on their listed contact and ask for the exact listing link for your item and size. Clean it with our link converter, then paste it into Superbuy.

Yes, but never from the album itself. There are three workable routes: paste a Taobao or 1688 listing link with no purchasing fee, paste a Weidian link and check the fee line, or use Shopping Enquiry when the seller only has a chat contact, charged like an unlisted platform at 10% capped at CN¥20. A proper listing link is always the cheapest route.

First find the shop link or product code in the album; if there isn't one, ask the seller for the exact Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing. Paste it into Superbuy's search bar, choose colour and size, add a remark and pay the item price plus domestic delivery. When it arrives, check the warehouse photos, consolidate within the 90 free storage days and ship.

Only when there's no platform listing and staff must buy by hand through Shopping Enquiry. That's charged like an unlisted platform: 10% of the item value, minimum CN¥10, capped at CN¥20. With a Taobao, Tmall or 1688 link the purchasing fee is CN¥0, and Weidian links show their fee at checkout. Asking the seller for a real listing link usually saves money.

Yupoo gives you nothing to judge sellers by: no ratings, no sales counts and no buyer protection. If the seller also runs a Taobao or Weidian shop, judge them there, using sales history, shop scores and buyer photos. Without any platform shop, you're relying on chat messages alone. Choose sellers with a real shop, and let Superbuy's QC photos have the final say.
